The world's largest calendar building - Brownlow House - now hosts the community at its music festivals, and former key transport hub Cookstown Railway Station is now home to a hockey club.
Known as the largest calendar building in the world, Brownlow House in Lurgan, County Armagh, boasts 365 rooms, 52 chimneys and four wings. Originally built for the Brownlow family, this impressive building now opens its doors to the entire community and hosts festivals in the name of its most famous resident - the Greyhound Master McGrath.
Cookstown Railway Station in County Tyrone was once a thriving transport hub that connected this rural community to the cities and beyond. Having closed to passengers in 1956, it is now the home of Cookstown Hockey Club and retains its place at the heart of Cookstown life.
