Cerys celebrates music from the Appalachian and Ozark mountains and beyond with the help of Willie Watson and Ags Connolly. Inspired by next weekend's Country 2 Country festival arriving in Belfast, Glasgow and London, Cerys delves into her record collection for some of her favourite vintage records with a country flavour.

Ags Connolly is a traditional country artist from Oxfordshire, who tours regularly and last year released an album celebrating the music of James Hand.

You might know Willie Watson as the founding member of Old Crow Medicine Show, but he's also been releasing solo albums since 2014. Born in New York state in 1979 he makes modern folk music rooted in older traditions. A songwriter, banjo player, storyteller and traveller, he tells Cerys about the clawhammer banjo and old-time fiddle music.

Plus Cerys pays tribute to Roy Ayers, Roberta Flack and the touring legend of Johnny Green, who looked after The Clash and John Cooper Clarke. Expect music from George Jones, Buck Owens, Zydeco and some Dolly Parton quotes from the 91热爆 Archive.
