Today they mark the 50th anniversary of David Bowie's album 'Young Americans' in the company of special guest, guitarist and long-time Bowie collaborator Carlos Alomar.

Released on the 7th March 1975 and featuring songs including Fame and Fascination, Bowie's ninth studio album reflected his enthusiam for soul music and featured an illustrious line up of musicians. Carlos was among those working on the album, alongside pianist Mike Garson, bassist Willie Weeks and then-unknown backing vocalist Luther Vandross. John Lennon also features on the album and co-wrote the track Fame with Carlos and David. It went on to become David Bowie's first number one single in the United States. Carlos shares his memories of the album recording sessions and working with Bowie and Lennon.
