Your perfect Sunday soundtrack
Join Sarah Walker for three hours of classical favourites designed to help you recharge, and relax, whether you鈥檙e feeling productive or planning for a peaceful morning.
Sarah Walker with three hours of classical music to reflect, restore and refresh.
Today Sarah鈥檚 choices include British masterpieces from Holst, Handel and Delius, the silken sounds of the Norwegian Soloists鈥 Choir singing Bach, and 鈥 an image of a Fairyland of the past鈥 by Hungarian composer Zoltan Kodaly.
Famous film music also makes an appearance, with a piece by Shostakovich specifically written for the big screen, and another well-known tune that became a musical star courtesy of a Disney hit movie.
Plus, as spring approaches, composer Karen Tanaka uses the piano to weave together the colour and scent of lavender鈥
