This week Cerys chats to screenwriter Allison McGourty about the new documentary film Becoming Led Zeppelin. The film charts Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, John Bonham and Robert Plant's successful and fast rise through the music scene from their meeting in the late 60's to one of the biggest bands in the world. For the film Allison collaborated again with Bernard MacMahon, her previous work has included producing and co-writing the American Epic series and The American Epic Sessions.

Double bass player and Tomorrow's Warriors' founder Gary Crosby OBE pops by to celebrate Bob Marley who would have turned 80 this week. Gary paid homage to Bob Marley with his Jazz Jamaica All Stars alongside Brinsley Forde back in 2023. Gary is well known for his instrumental work supporting young jazz players including Ezra Collective, Moses Boyd, Nubya Garcia and Gary has recently celebrated his own milestone birthday this year, recently celebrating his 70th.

Expect a mix of funk, jazz, blues, folk and beats from around the globe, blending genres and crossing borders.
