This week, the great Irish band Altan are live in the studio.

Altan formed in Donegal in 1987 by Mair茅ad N铆 Mhaonaigh and the late Frankie Kennedy. They were one of the first traditional Irish bands to sign to a major label, and have since created multiple albums and flown a flag for Irish music around the world.

Their latest album, Donegal, was released in 2024.
