Tom Service talks to celebrated pianist Seong-Jin Cho

Get your weekend started with pianist Seong-Jin Cho in conversation with Tom Service, plus the best classical music and the latest stories in the arts world.

Since winning the 2015 Chopin International Piano Competition, Seong-Jin Cho has quickly established himself as one of the leading pianists of his generation. He talks to Tom Service about marking the 150th anniversary of Ravel's birth with the release of two new albums and recitals around the world.

Tom also speaks to the multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Jacob Collier about his upcoming concerts with the Britten Sinfonia in Bristol and London, and the joys of the mass communal voices heard in his famous 'audience choirs'.

And as Pablo Larrain's Maria Callas biopic 'Maria' hits UK screens, with Angelina Jolie in the titular role as the legendary opera diva, soprano Golda Schultz talks about what makes Maria Callas so special, and Tom talks to the film's sound editor John Warhurst about how they blended Angelina Jolie's voice with Maria's.

Plus Tom Service plays the best classical playlist, with familiar favourites, hidden gems and new discoveries.
