For the first challenge, artists pair up head-to-head to create beats and then perform. The two new artists also go against each other, with the winner gaining a place in the competition.

For the second challenge, artists write and perform a feature on an R&B track with Bellah.

Mentors include legendary MC D Double E and R&B songstress Bellah.
