GaelStair, Ceardlanna Ailse, Two Minute Masterpiece. GaelStair, Cancer Information Workshops, Two Minute Masterpiece.

Tá daltaí Choláiste Feirste ag foghlaim faoi stair na Gaeltachta Uirbí le GaelStair. Tógadh Pilib Mistéil ar Bhóthar Seoighe i nGaeltacht Bhéal Feirste agus insíonn sé níos mó faoin tionscadal seo do Dháithí. Tá ceardlanna sláinte Hive Cancer Support aistrithe go Gaeilge ag grúpa mac léinn i nDoire agus iad anois á gcur ar fáil do pháistí rang a seacht. Cluineann muid faoin obair seo agus faoin bhean óg a d’aistrigh. Fosta, tá Two Minute Masterpiece 91Èȱ¬ cruthaithe ag Emma Corrigan, faoina hathair a fuair bás le déanaí. Is é seo céad choimisiún Gaeilge na sraithe agus tá Emma linn lena phlé.

Coláiste Feirste pupils are learning about the history of the Urban Gaeltacht from the people who have been there since the beginning. Pilib Mitséil was raised on the Shaw’s Road in Belfast’s Gaeltacht, and he joins Dáithí to tell him all about the project. Hive Cancer Support in Derry have translated their health workshop for primary seven pupils to Irish, with the help of three university students. We hear from one of the students who translated the work. And, Emma Corrigan has created a Two Minute Masterpiece on the 91Èȱ¬ about her father who recently passed away. It’s the first Two Minute Masterpiece to be commissioned in Irish, and Emma joins us to discuss her film.
