Bariete rings the warning bell to alert the minks of the samurais’ arrival. Kin’emon and Kanjuro are reunited with Momonosuke, who left the fortress to look for the others. Inuarashi and Nekomamushi lead their respective subordinates to Kurau City to face the samurais. The two rulers run into each other, and despite their subordinates’ attempt to stop them, they clash just as Kin’emon, Kanjuro, and Momonosuke arrive in the city. The Straw Hats also arrive and try to prevent the samurais from being seen by the minks. However, much to the Straw Hats’ dismay, Kin’emon announces his arrival, introduces himself as a retainer of the Kozuki Family of Wano Country, and tells the minks he is looking for his comrade named Raizo. The minks approach the samurais and inform them that Raizo is safe. Much to the Straw Hats surprise, they reveal that their tribe and the Kozuki Family have been “brothers” for ages and that they had been hiding Raizo despite the tragedy that befell upon them.
