Jess Gillam’s guest this week is the cellist Tony Rymer, a member of Kaleidoscope Chamber Collective and Chineke!

Originally hailing from Boston, Massachusetts, Tony Rymer has established himself as a high calibre chamber music player, as well as an accomplished soloist with some of the United States’ top orchestras.

Tony and Jess talk about their lives as musicians, and share some of their favourite music, which includes a melody masterclass from Tchaikovsky, ö in an unusual setting, and a moment of pure magic from Schubert.
