Carmarthen 27
The National Botanic Garden of Wales is the setting for today’s shop as Stephanie Connell and John Cameron captain two teams of bargain hunters.
Danny Sebastian hopes to strike the right chord when he learns about guitar making or ‘lutherie’. In his workshop, Alex Bishop shows Danny how he makes gypsy jazz, acoustic and electric guitars - a process that takes him up to 200 hours!
In Carmarthenshire, two teams are tuning up for a battle of the bargains. Sister act Natalie and Victoria are in red, guided by their expert Stephanie Connell. Their opponents in blue are married couple Oliver and Noi, helped by John Cameron.
The reds kick off their shop by looking at a mid-century child’s chair. They decide it’s cute, but not cute enough! The blues, meanwhile, pick up an antique cup with the word Henry marked intriguingly on the side, but will they decide to splash out?
In Stroud, auctioneer Stuart Maule is optimistic that both teams can make profits, but who is going home with the win?
