Soft Cell legend Marc Almond is the 3rd and final artist in the summer run of Radio 2 Piano Room performances from Maida Vale.

Having shot to fame with Soft Cell's recreation of the Northern Soul classic Tainted Love in 1981, Marc has gone on to become one of the most critically acclaimed and influential UK artists of the past 40 years. As well as being the creator of modern day classics including Bedsitter, Torch and Say Hello Wave Goodbye, Marc has enjoyed success after success as a solo artist with a wide range of projects and collaborations covering everything from Russian folk songs to his Number 1 duet with Gene Pitney on Something's Gotten Hold Of My Heart.

12 July Marc sees the release of Marc's latest solo album, I'm Not Anyone, a collection of covers including Gone With The Wind (Is My Love) and The Days of Pearly Spencer, both of which are featured on his Piano Room set alongside Lana Del Rey's Summertime Sadness.
