Wetherby 16
Two teams of bargain hunters are under starter’s orders at Wetherby Racecourse, skippered by experts Izzie Balmer and David Harper.
The forecast looks good for an episode from an antiques fair at Wetherby Racecourse. Hosted by Charlie Ross, two teams of work colleagues compete to make the most profit at auction.
On the red team are civil servants Maisha and H, guided by Izzie Balmer. Their opponents in blue are music teachers Maddy and Kirsty, skippered by David Harper.
The reds are slow to buy their first item, with H sidetracked by a fishing reel that fails to hook him in. Over with the blues, David bamboozles his duo with a history lesson, until they remind him that music is their subject!
One subject close to Danny Sebastian’s heart is the artist Vladimir Tretchikoff, most famous for his portrait of 'The Green Lady'. Danny shows Charlie a few pieces from his private collection.
