Springwatch celebrates the wildlife heroes who dedicate their time to nature. After hundreds of nominations, the under-18 winner receives their coveted Wildlife Hero Award.
Chris Packham and Michaela Strachan continue to broadcast from RSPB Arne in Dorset, while Iolo Williams will be close by at Garston Woods, where he is seeking out one of the woodland’s most elusive residents – the dormouse.
Megan McCubbin is at the Scottish Centre for Ecology and the Natural Environment, where she will be looking out for the local pied flycatchers.
