Acclaimed Belfast singer/songwriter, Gareth Dunlop, live in concert from The Limelight in Belfast. His performance includes material from his forthcoming album released in June.
Acclaimed singer/songwriter, Gareth Dunlop, live in concert with a set recorded at iconic Belfast music venue, The Limelight.
Born and raised in East Belfast, Dunlop has become one of the most talked about new artists from Northern Ireland.
As well as being a singer, songwriter and performer, he is a multi-instrumentalist, engineer and record producer.
Dunlop uses influences of synth & dream pop, folk and soul, and his distinctive writing and vocal styles have led to many of his songs being featured in numerous television shows and films, including Lucifer, Bones, Nashville, and Safe Haven to name a few.
As a writer, Dunlop has written for artists ranging from rap-star, T.I. to Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.
He has previously opened for the likes of Stereophonics, Snow Patrol, Jeff Beck, Bonnie Raitt and Van Morrison. Gareth spent much of last year touring with Foy Vance after producing Vance’s acclaimed LP, “Signs of Life.
He recently released his single, All We’ll Ever Need, and his first headline tour of the UK takes place in June 2024.
June will also see the release of his forthcoming album, ‘Welcome To The House of I Don’t Know’.
This programme features highlights from Gareth’s hour long set recorded on Tuesday 5th March 2024 in front of a live audience.
This was part of three nights of recordings for the Live At The Limelight series. Other artists featured include And So I Watch You From Afar, The Academic, Dani Larkin, Gareth Dunlop, Chubby Cat, Brooke Scullion, Mount Palomar and Trú.
