PHONE-IN
Teachers in Aberdeen say they're facing increasing violence and aggression in the class room - with some scared to go to work. The EIS union is calling for urgent intervention by Aberdeen City Council. The council says it's trying to support staff while also addressing underlying causes of misbehaviour. The Scottish Government says it's working with councils to bring forward a joint national action plan to set out actions needed.
This comes amid growing concern over abusive incidents with teachers forced to deal with issues arising from both pupils and parents.
