We’re talking about tenants and landlords this morning. There’s a couple of stories in the news, a tenant has told 91Èȱ¬ Scotland how he was confronted with a chair during a row over withheld rent payments. Jason Chen took a secret video recording of the incident where a man believes his landlord is seen waving a stool during a dispute over Mr Chen's Edinburgh flat going without hot water for 28 days.

As well as that, with the end of a cap on rents looming in April, the Scottish government has brought forward plans for temporary rent controls. Tenant's rights minister Patrick Harvie has said the new rules would provide a level of protection for private tenants who challenge a rent increase.
