Episode 2 of 3

Mark Nelson returns to Edinburgh and meets Gail Porter, there's Jamie MacDonald as Professor Powderkeg, Julie Lin talks about FOOD with a clown, and the best of Scottish stand-up.

Mark Nelson meets Gail Porter, who is making her Fringe debut with her show all about her life, from early stardom to homelessness, and the affect it all had on her mental health.

Star of Scot Squad and Officer Karen’s best pal, Darren Connell, meets comedy superstar actor Eden Sher. Both starred in sitcoms for nine years, and invested so much of their own personality in their characters that the lines often became blurred, particularly with the audience at home. ‘I Was In A Sitcom’ is a runaway success at the Fringe, and these two unlikely friends have a great time comparing their lives in Los Angeles and Springburn.

Jamie MacDonald returns to experience another Fringe show as a blind audience member. This week he visits Dr Kaboom, a wild-eyed scientist intent on making chemistry and physics fun and interesting for children. Glasgow-based chef Julie Lin heads into the Edinburgh International Festival to experience the hottest ticket of the year, FOOD. The immersive theatre piece has almost sold out as creator and performer Geoff Sobelle pulls out surprise after surprise for the audience, sat around an incredible table set for 30 people.
