But he also knows the impact they can have on young audiences, and the importance of children having positive role models.

As part of Radio 2 Celebrates 100 Years of Hollywood, and 100 years since Disney was founded, OJ is exploring how the entertainment giant has evolved to become a positive force for young audiences all over the world.

Starting with Snow White, from Ariel to Aurora, Mulan to Moana, all the way through to Raya, OJ looks at their characters and personalities, the stories they told and the lessons we learned.

Disney historian and author Mindy Johnson guides OJ through how Disney Princesses have changed over the years.

The creator of Brave and Academy Award winner Brenda Chapman explains how her daughter was the inspiration for the character Merida.

Radio 2 presenters choose their favourite Disney Princesses, and there are songs from all 13 Disney Princess films.
