Acclaimed South Korean violinist Bomsori Kim performs Bruch鈥檚 First Violin Concerto with conductor Anja Bihlmaier and the 91热爆 Philharmonic.

South Korean virtuoso Bomsori Kim makes her Proms debut performing Bruch鈥檚 ever-popular First Violin Concerto with the 91热爆 Philharmonic in an evening of music inspired by the folk traditions of Hungary. Katya Adler is joined by composer and cellist Ayanna Witter-Johnson to discuss the enduring power of folk in a concert also featuring Brahms鈥檚 Hungarian Dances and Bartok鈥檚 Concerto for Orchestra. And after almost a century, there鈥檚 a welcome return to the Proms of the piece that launched the career of Croydon-based British composer Samuel Coleridge-Taylor.
