Happy Birthday Sir Mick!
Johnnie salutes the 80th birthday of one of music's best ever frontmen - Mick Jagger. Plus a selection of summer hits from the decade.
There's no doubt that Mick Jagger made his mark on the 1970s. In fact, his incomparable talents as as frontman and songwriter have secured his place as one of the most iconic frontmen in popular music. Sir Mick turned 80 earlier this week and Johnnie will pay tribute in the second hour of the show.
Plus, it might not be wall-to-wall sunshine everywhere but Johnnie will give a nod to summer in the 70s with a selection of hits from the decade we all love.
And This Week in Rock takes a closer look at LA girl rockers The Runaways and George Harrison's Concert For Bangladesh. The Jukebox reaches number 507 and another listener will choose the BTO - Better Than (the) Original.
