How does self-doubt serve us? A love letter to trees; the ethical issues rising from the acquisition of archaeological treasures; & are we experiencing a moral decline in society?

The journey towards justice for survivors of sexual violence can be long and challenging. Dr Oona Brooks-Hay, from the Scottish Centre for Crime and Justice Research at the University of Glasgow, explores what justice really means for those who have experienced such trauma.

Zara Janjua talks to artist and climate activist Katie Holten about her latest book, "The Language of Trees," which pays tribute to the important part trees have played in human history.

Recently discovered notes within a prayer book used by Henry VIII have stirred speculation about the monarch's state of mind, suggesting he was riddled with self-doubt. Dr. Kristen Knowles, a psychology lecturer from Queen Margaret University, and philosopher and author Julian Baggini, discuss self-doubt and whether it can ever be a positive.

While it may sound reminiscent of the Victorian era, the question lingers: are we, as a society, experiencing a decline in moral values? Joining Zara to delve into this topic of moral decline are Julian Baggini and Luke Devlin, a member of the Catholic Worker Movement.

Wednesday commemorates the 75th anniversary of the establishment of our National Health Service. Gavin Francis, a writer and practicing GP, joins Zara to reflect on the NHS's origins, its current state, and his aspirations for its future.

Last Friday witnessed the highly anticipated release of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. The Indiana Jones franchise presents a fantastical world of adventure and enigma, but what ethical concerns surround the looting of ancient sites in pursuit of cultural treasures? Dr Emiline Smith, a Criminology Lecturer at the University of Glasgow, explains the ethical issues behind the acquisition of archaeological treasures.
