Another chance to watch Zeinab Badawi鈥檚 2014 interview with acclaimed Ghanaian writer Ama Ata Aidoo, who has died aged 81. A former education minister, she arguably did more than any other writer to depict and celebrate the condition of women in Africa and was opposed to what she described as a 'western perception that the African female is a downtrodden wretch'.
