Peter lost out on 拢3,000 when scammers convinced him they were from his bank鈥檚 fraud team. Jim Browning is the scourge of the scammers, working with the police to get them arrested.
Peter was an exhausted care worker who had come off shift and answered the phone to the wrong person. Despite repeatedly questioning the scammers, calling from his bank鈥檚 鈥榝raud team鈥�, Peter was eventually won over and ended up handing over almost 拢3,500. Peter is worried about how and why he was targeted and hopes Michelle and Mavis can provide the answers for him.
Michelle also meets Jim Browning, a scourge of scammers, for an online interview to learn how Jim has been hacking into the hackers and working with police to bring them down. Finally, we meet Theresa, who has lost a six figure sum to cryptocurrency scammers and is worried about all the information she has given away in the process.
