Romy has always loved cover versions, as singing someone else's song provided a safe place to start when she felt too shy to perform her own music. Since then, covers have remained a valuable part of her creative process, from singing Wham! with Oliver Sim when they first started The xx to discovering new versions of iconic tracks that bring the song into a whole new universe. In this episode, Romy shares some of her all-time favourite covers and explains the personal stories behind why she loves them so much - including music from Tina Turner, Pet Shop Boys, and Kelsey Lu.
