Teenage friends Sean Cooney, Michael Hughes and David Eagle literally stumbled over folk music in 2003 in the back room of The Sun Inn in their native Stockton-on-Tees, never knowing that such music existed. They became regulars and, as the youngest people in the room, were dubbed The Young’uns – a name that, for better or worse, has stuck. Fast forward 20 years and the triple 91Èȱ¬ award winners are revered for their strong songs, spellbinding harmonies and rapid fire humour. Songwriter Sean Cooney joins Anna live to talk about their latest album, Tiny Notes.

Juhani Silvola is a sought-after guitarist, renowned composer of electro-acoustic contemporary music, and record producer. Together, they are an internationally acclaimed Scottish/Finnish duo, who celebrated their 10th anniversary in 2021. For their latest project, Sølvstrøk (Silverstroke), they have specially created an all-star Norwegian chamber orchestra. Sarah-Jane and Juhani join Anna live from Norway.
