Our planet is paying the price for generations of environmental mismanagement. The climate emergency and the destruction of our environment has led to a staggering 60% decline in wildlife on our planet since 1970.
In this series, we see how nature can fix itself with a little help from humans. We take you on a journey across Europe to meet some of the dedicated conservationists who are doing remarkable work to bring the planet ‘Back from The Brink’.
We see how the city of Rome is coming to terms with the return of the wolf, how the bison begins its journey from captivity to freedom in Sweden and how residents in a town in Germany are helping the toad to cross the road.
