Royal Welsh Show - Goats and Ponies
The Royal Welsh Show sees goat farmer Liz and Welsh pony breeder Kitty face the scrutiny of the judges, hoping their hard work will be rewarded.
For goat farmer Liz, starting her own pedigree dairy herd while holding down a job as a healthcare support worker and raising two children is a real achievement. To boost income for their family farm near Snowdonia, Liz sells her goat's milk and cheese. With dreams of growing her business, she鈥檚 banking on rosette wins for her finest goats at the prestigious Royal Welsh Show, with the help of her kids.
Meanwhile, near the Brecon Beacons, farmer Kitty is a passionate promoter of Welsh ponies. As the third generation of her family to care for this rare breed, Kitty wants to maintain their reputation as top breeders. Success in the competition ring will help secure that this year.
