Dhriti lives with her family in the village of Amlidih in central India. Until recently, her days were spent making the long and difficult walk to collect water with her mother. Yet, there was never enough for cooking, drinking or washing.聽

Frank Water developed a water security plan with the villagers to increase supply and better manage demand. With a steady supply of safe water, Dhriti can go to school and her mother can grow and sell extra farm produce.

Access to safe water is a basic human right but there are still 600 million people in the world who live without it. Through small-scale community projects, Frank Water empowers people to live sustainable and healthier lives.聽
