So what exactly is Liz Truss鈥� relationship with Britain鈥檚 press? Was she really 鈥渆gged on鈥� by the media, as some of her critics claim, to do what she did in the disastrous mini-budget? And if the opinion polls are to be believed 鈥� with her party apparently heading for oblivion at a general election 鈥� might traditional Tory papers switch allegiance?
