Jumok茅 Fashola presents highlights from UK jazz festival We Out Here, including main stage sets from Brazilian jazz-funk legends Azymuth, Chicago multi-percussionist Kahil El'Zabar, Manchester saxophonist and spiritual jazz guru Nat Birchall, and energetic Latin big band New Regency Orchestra.

Also in the programme, we hear from Scottish pianist Fergus McCreadie whose latest album Forest Floor is nominated for this year鈥檚 Mercury Prize. A former 91热爆 Young Jazz Musician finalist, Fergus has won acclaim for his virtuosity and rhythmic flair and for his imaginative blend of jazz and Scottish folk tradition. He shares some of the music that has influenced and inspired him, including tracks by Keith Jarrett and The Gloaming.
