More Highlights from the World Pipe Band Championships
Gary West introduces more highlights from this year's world pipe band championships with expert analysis from John Wilson and Alistair Aitken.
Gary West is joined in the studio by leading ‘pipe band pundits’, John Wilson and Alistair Aitken, who offer their expert analysis of the top performances from this year’s world pipe band championships held on Glasgow Green on the 12th and 13th of August. With music from the newly crowned world champions, Field Marshall Montgomery Pipe Band, who take their total tally to 13 world titles, all of them earned within the last thirty years. We hear too from the runners up, Inveraray and District, and from the other bands who featured in the prize list – Scottish Power, St Lawrence O’Toole, the People’s Ford Boghall and Bathgate, and from Canada, the Simon Fraser University.
