In celebration of SRK's 30 years as an icon, Noreen plays out archive material of when SRK recorded a series about his heroes for Asian Network starting with his father.

In celebration of Shah Rukh Khan's thirty years as a global film icon, Noreen plays out archive material of a series SRK recorded for the Asian Network about the heroes who have influenced his life. Everyday this week Noreen plays out a 30 minute recording detailing SRK's heroes starting with one about his father Taj Mohammed Khan. Noreen also spins her new track of the week called My City and speaks to Bambi Bains about the track! The song is an official Commonwealth Games album celebrating Birmingham hosting the games. Bambi was tasked to create a song about the second city and the track mixes orchestral strings and piano with a recognisable underlying drill beat! Enjoy and get involved @bbcasiannetwork
