Episode 2
Peter is busy planting in the garden and helps two budding gardeners with a pumpkin. Tha Pà druig trang a’cur sa ghà rradh, agus a’cuideachadh dithis òga a’cur pheapaig.
Peter Macqueen and his trusty sidekick, Seòras, are back for a new series of digging, planting, harvesting and eating.
The Spring sunshine has warmed up the garden and Peter finally gets his sprouting seedlings into the ground. However, aiming to take full advantage of the good weather, Peter, Coinneach and Seòras soon set off for the hut to join Peter’s dad and uncle Stuart.
With an abundance of wild garlic growing, Peter and Stuart head out foraging whilst Coinneach preps the kitchen to make some delicious garlicy scones. After a good feed it is then time to get planting. Never able to leave empty handed, Peter collects some moss before heading home.
Back in Glasgow, it’s time to plant some more vegetables and visit two young budding gardeners, Una and Criosaidh, where he lends a helping hand planting a pumpkin.
