14/04/2022 A Meditation for Maundy Thursday

A Meditation for Maundy Thursday led by Rev Richard Carter, Associate Vicar for Mission at St Martin-in-the-Fields.

Maundy Thursday is a day when the church focuses on what happened the day before Jesus died. Actions, they say, speak louder than words and a person’s last actions are often impossible to forget - especially when the person is someone we love. Those last moments become imprinted upon our memories and will be pondered over and over again. What did they do, what did they say before they died? Who did they meet with? Did they leave any message, or any sign, anything that can make sense of a death that has left friends and family overwhelmed and bereft.

A meditation led by Rev Richard Carter, the Associate Vicar for Mission at St Martin-in-the-Fields.
