Ukraine refugees

Media coverage of Ukraine has sparked a discussion on whether refugees are viewed differently because of their ethnicity. Plus has the pandemic changed your social life forever?

Refugees have fled Ukraine and moved into surrounding countries such as Poland and Romania as they desperately try to escape the fighting. A lot of them received a warm welcome from neighbouring countries. However, there were occasional comments or references - often by or through the media - which suggested all the help and support for Ukrainian refugees was understandable - because they're not like other refugees. A reference thought to be about refugees from Syria or Afghanistan. Our guests discuss whether these comments are appropriate. That鈥檚 followed by a chat about social life; although Covid hasn't gone away, restrictions in England have. Will you now be partying hard to make up for all the Friday and Saturday nights when you couldn't go out? Or has being forced to stay at home changed the way you feel about going out and socialising?
