Today on Call You & Yours we're asking: how are NHS delays affecting you or your loved ones?
More than six million people in England alone were waiting for non urgent treatment at the end of last year. Last week the Health Secretary Sajid Javid announced plans to try and reduce the backlog, but warned it may get worse before it gets better. New targets aim to get waiting times under 18 months by 2024, and under a year by 2025.
What's it like waiting for NHS treatment or surgery right now? How is the wait impacting on your quality of life?
Can you afford to pay for private treatment, or to travel abroad for your care?
Email the programme at youandyours@bbc.co.uk and please leave a phone number so we can call you back. From 11:00am on Tuesday 15th February, you can call us direct on 03700 100 444.
