Ahead of the Chinese New Year Mandy Yin discusses the key elements of Malaysian Cooking. Mandy is Malaysian-born Chinese of Peranakan Nyonya heritage and learnt traditional dishes like curry laksa, prawn fritters, mapo tofu and beef rendang from her mother. Her recipe book Sambal Shiok was published in October 2021.

Also, the award-winning Roger McGough reads poems from his latest collection, Safety in Numbers, written during the Covid-19 pandemic.
