Hot for 2022: Haseeb Haze, G Bugz, Shaz and YXNG SXNGH

Tonight DJ Limelight and Kan D Man shine a spotlight on artists they think you should expect big things from in 2022. Featuring Haseeb Haze, G Bugz, Shaz and YXNG SXNGH.

DJ Limelight and Kan D Man showcase the very best new music around. With a particular focus on UK rap, drill, R&B and MC talent, expect to hear two hours of pure fire with the latest releases and an expertly curated playlist of the best tunes being dropped from homegrown talent as well as from desi artists around the world.

Tonight they'll be shining a spotlight on artists they expect big things from in 2022. Up first they'll be chatting to Birmingham's vocal talent that is Haseeb Haze who had a strong 2021 releasing mashups and a big Hype on the Mic session. Then they'll be taking it over to West London to chat to R&B singer-songwriter Shaz whose latest release 'Denial' has been getting a lot of love on the show. Then they'll be heading up North to speak with Bradford's G Bugz who also had a strong Hype on the Mic session at the end of last year and is responsible for heavy releases such as 'Trapspot' and 'Phone Calls'. Finally it's back to Birmingham to check in with producer YXNG SXNGH to find out about how he got started in the scene and began experimenting with blending different sounds to find his style.

As well as this they spin their Coldest Record and hear from one of their Scene Scouts who this week has recommended FIZZ's track 'Suge Knight'.
