An àite tachartas na bliadhna seo, a chaidh a chuir dheth gu duilich mar thoradh air Covid-19, tha am prògram seo le Catriona NicNèill a’ toirt sùil air ais air eachdraidh bheairteach 70-bliadhna an Tatù agus a’ cuimhneachadh air mòran de na h-amannan sàr-mhath tro na bliadhnaichean.

Le pìoban mòra agus drumaichean, agus sreath eadar-nàiseanta de chòmhlain caismeachd, taisbeanaidhean armachd agus dannsaichean fiùghantach, bidh an taisbeanadh an-còmhnaidh a ’tighinn gu crìch tiamhaidh le pìobaire singilte aig Caisteal Dhùn Èideann. 'S i Catriona NicNèill a chuireas fàilte oirbh gu program sònraichte le pìobairean, drumairean agus dannsairean a’ comharrachadh seasgad bliadhna bhon thòisich an Tatù.

Every August, thousands of visitors from all over the world come to marvel at the spectacular sights and sounds of the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. In place of the 2020 event, sadly cancelled due to Covid-19, this programme looked back at the Tattoo’s rich 70-year history and revisited many of the standout moments.

Featuring massed pipes and drums, and an international array of marching bands, military displays and dynamic dances, the show always draws to a poignant close with a lone piper on the ramparts of Edinburgh Castle. Catriona MacNeill introduces some of the best pipers, drummers and dancers as she celebrates the anniversary of the Tattoo.
