Sabrina Grant presents as a team of expert crafters transform unused objects into contemporary and functional items.
Caroline cycles into the workshop on a very special bespoke tricycle, which she got instead of a mobility scooter to help her get around. She has a new one now that she finds easier, but her first trike remains extremely special to her. Carpentry expert Shelley and metalwork specialist John come up with ideas for Caroline to choose from that will completely transform her transportation.
Aylwyn has fond memories of playing with her mum鈥檚 old steamer trunk as a child. It contained all her mum鈥檚 belongings when she moved to India aged 20 with Aylwyn鈥檚 dad. It鈥檚 an item Aylwyn has always treasured, but it has been in and out of the loft because she has never known what to do with it. Master upholsterer Alex and fabric specialist Elizabeth pitch their ideas to transform it into something beautiful that Aylwyn can use every day.
Irene has brought in her engagement and wedding rings. They mean a great deal to her, holding memories of a special wedding and a happy 24-year marriage to her husband, who sadly died of cancer. The rings no longer fit her hands, so jewellery expert Disa has the job of turning the rings into a piece that will be close to Irene鈥檚 heart.
And blacksmithing sculptor Leigh brings in his old wooden sled for fellow remaker Rob to transform. He has a pretty good idea of what he can do, but needs all his crafting skills to take it apart and rebuild it as something new.
