Fashion brands commit to new guarantees on wages and working conditions, and parents are warned to stock up on Christmas toys before they run out.
Major Fashion Brands have signed up to a scheme aimed at protecting wages and working conditions at clothing factories in Bangladesh. They idea is that once its up and running, the new agreement will be rolled out to other countries in south Asia and beyond that supply the fashion industry in Europe and North America.
