Episode 2
Nigel Havers hosts as five dealers bid to buy items brought in by the public, including a barrister's bookcase, a Japanese wedding kimono and a unique 1960s dream stroller.
Nigel Havers welcomes four more sellers to the Bidding Room, where they try to sell items to professional dealers who are on the lookout for interesting pieces, with help from expert Simon Bower.
First through the doors is Cathy, with a fascinating piece of Japanese design. Her 1960s ‘dream stroller’ is truly unique, but will the dealers offer her enough to fund her dream celebration? Next are father and daughter Anthony and Ava, with some antique bookcases. The dealers are intrigued, but who will bid the most? Sue is selling a beautiful vintage Japanese kimono. This piece of 1970s statement fashion is sure to transfix our bidders, but can Sue get the price she is after? Roger has brought in a card collection featuring pub signs. He has had it since his youth, but will he be saying cheers to a top trade with the dealers? Last to face the dealers is Kevin, with an inkwell he picked up at an auction. Both decorative and useful, it is certain to intrigue the dealers, but will Kevin get enough money to pay for his wedding?
Today's dealers are Estelle, Tash, Adi, Ian and James.
