A tale of companionship and belonging. Bruiser lives on The Close and has done for 17 years. He and Lola, his beloved cocker spaniel, reside in Number 2 and make it their business to know everyone鈥檚 comings and goings: the-up-all-nighters, the early morning sore-sighters, the barkers and the biters.
And of course, 鈥楢r Lass from next door who鈥檚 rushed off her feet as guardian to three young grandkids鈥搘hich doesn鈥檛 stop her from dropping in to number 2 with some slightly sub-standard scones every few days.
