Kevin Le Gendre presents live music from fiery Austrian band Shake Stew. With an unusual lineup bolstered by two drummers and two bass players, the group鈥檚 combination of globetrotting grooves and freewheeling solos has won them widespread acclaim, inviting comparisons with Pharoah Sanders and Sons of Kemet. Appearing live in Leibnitz, they perform music from their 2019 album Gris Gris as well as some brand new compositions. Plus, Kevin shares a mix of jazz classics and the best new releases.
