Ian offers some advice and Elizabeth is left speechless.

Vince is late for lunch with Elizabeth – he’s been talking cold storage with Rex. He adds insult to injury when he treads pig muck into the kitchen floor. As they banter Elizabeth gently folds in a reminder that Rex’s pigs are her project. It’s baby steps at the moment, and Vince is going in feet first ahead of her. He apologises. He thought he could use his experience to help Rex – and it’s his roundabout way of showing his love for Elizabeth. He cares because she does. Elizabeth is stopped in her tracks at the mention of love. Can they just go on having fun times? Of course, agrees Vince, and he returns to the safer topic of lunch.

Ian’s giving Helen a hand arranging items in the Beechwood house. Xander’s with Jennifer, as she’s missing Martha. Helen sympathises. The whole situation’s awful, for everyone. Lee arrives home less than happy at Helen’s positioning of his action figures. He reassures her he likes what she’s done, it’s just a question of status. There’s some more re-arranging of figures and posters until everyone’s happy. Ian notes that as long as you can compromise in a relationship and you love each other, that’s all that matters. Helen assures Ian her relationship with Lee is not at all like she had with Rob. She trusts Lee completely; what you see is what you get. They’re interrupted by a message from Lee with the news that he’ll be acquiring a drum kit. Ian’s aghast, but Helen’s happy to accommodate the wishes of her wonderful man.
