Shaun kicks off the weekend by handing over 6 Music output to his uncle Frank who has 3 incredible soul and funk tunes for is as part of Uncle Funky Frank鈥檚 Friday Floor Fillers. Plus, our resident poet Murray Lachlan Young joins with another poem to wrap up the week. There is a final play of our Liked and Shared track of the week. This week it's the new single from Piroshka. Scratching At The Lid is released on Bella Union and is the first single from the band's second album, Love Drips And Gathers, out 23rd July. The album builds on the acclaim of the band鈥檚 2018 debut LP 鈥淏rickbat鈥� and the reputations of the former members of Lush, Moose, Elastica and Modern English.

Shaun is also after your Middle Age Shout Outs and another caller joins for Small Claims Court. Plus, this weekend is the 50th Anniversary of Marvin Gaye's What鈥檚 Going On. To celebrate, the album is today's Album of the Day and Craig Charles joins to chat about a special he has on his Saturday programme.
