Dick and Dom choose the Tracks of My Years
Dick and Dom, the award winning comedy double act, choose the Tracks of My Years. There's the daily love song, record and album of the week plus another round of PopMaster.
Dick and Dom, the popular comedy double act, choose the Tracks of My Years. Richard McCourt and Dominic Wood are a quadruple BAFTA winning duo who presented five series of 'Dick & Dom In Da Bungalow' between 2002 and 2006. Dick, born in Sheffield, worked on hospital radio from the age of 12 before landing a job as a runner on children's TV and swiftly working his way into a presenting role. Dom, from Exeter, was trying his luck as a magician when Dick was asked to interview him about his tricks for C91热爆. Their chemistry shone through right from the start and they joined forces to present links between programmes in the Broom Cupboard on C91热爆 before getting their own show - Dick & Dom In Da Bungalow.
Both self-confessed Radio 1 geeks growing up, they used to record the jingles off the radio and go to all the roadshows hoping to meet the presenters. Their dream came true when they presented 'The Sunday Morning Show' between 2007 and 2008. Other shows include 'The Legend of Dick & Dom', 'Are You Smarter Than A 10 Year Old', 'Absolute Genius With Dick & Dom' and Diddy TV.
In 2019 they moved into broadcasting for the Millennial generation launching their own podcast, 'Cash From Chaos'. Last year saw the release of their new podcast, 'The Dick and Dom Debate', discussing unimportant things in life such as fry-ups. They are now firm favourites for drum and bass DJ sets, live shows, meet and greets within the festival, nightclub, university and corporate markets both in the UK and abroad.
The first two tracks they've chosen come from The Cult and Wings. Ken also has the daily love song and another round of PopMaster. If you'd like to get in touch with the show email Ken.Bruce@bbc.co.uk
