Oxford AstraZeneca rollout “paused”, Padraig Fogarty on wilderness, and memories of the big U2 gig in 1987.

The Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine is paused in some countries following reports of blood clots in a small number of people recently vaccinated. But regulators say the move is a precaution and there is no evidence to suggest the vaccine is linked to the events.

Padraig Fogarty on reclaiming the wilderness in Ireland’s remoter places, and whether there can be a place for wild animals.

And the big U2 gig of 1987 – where the supporting acts for a ticket price of £15 included the Dubliners, the Pogues, and Lou Reed.
